To get the most out of your Google Business Profile (f.k.a. Google My Business), you have to optimize it. Here are a few quick and easy ways to do that. Google is the world’s most-visited website. The site currently holds more than 92% of the search engine market share. Creating a Google Business Profile (formerly known as Google My Business) is an important way to attract new customers to your business through Google search and Maps.
Hey, what’s up guys, John Henao here from ewizer. Today I’m going to share two things you should be doing consistently in Google My Business, which is now called Google Business Profile.
In order to grow your business or law firm, and to rank higher within the Google map section the first thing you should be doing is posting consistently on GMS, just like you should be posting consistently on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, you should also be posting consistently within the Google business profile.
The cool thing about this is that you can also post a description right below the image, you can post relevant content and relevant keywords that people are actually searching for. When Google sees these things, they create signals within the Google Maps section. And Google loves that because Google is going to start raising you up within the map section because they see a lot of movement happening in your profile. The second thing you should be doing is and it’s the most obvious is you need to be asking for more reviews, get more five-star Google reviews, there’s an alarming statistic that says 85% of people rate reviews, just like a referral.
As you know, when someone refers you to a client, it comes from a good source, is trustworthy, and most of the time, you’re going to close that deal. So think about it. 85% of the people way, a five-star review as a referral, it almost has the same weight. So make sure you’re getting those reviews.
Make sure that you apply these two things and you’re going to see that you’re going to rank higher within the map section.
See you on the next post.
