Grow Your Firm with Growth-Minded Team Members
So you want to grow your business or law firm, you want to make sure that when you’re hiring your team, you’re looking for those growth minded individuals that are very resourceful, right?
And every time I’m looking for a key hire, I asked them a question like, “Hey, what happens if there’s no work for a whole week?”
Let’s say this person is a project manager or an operations person. And if they tell me, “Well, you know, I’m just waiting for you to send me some more work.”
Those are not the people that you want to hire. Those are not the right individuals you want to hire.
You want to make sure that that person is a self starter.
You want to make sure that the people that you’re hiring for whatever role, that they are aspiring to be better at their role, better at their craft.
Just like I go to trade shows, I go to associations, I’m reading constantly about being a better agency owner.
They have to feel the same aspiration.
They have to feel like, if that’s their dream job too. Cause you don’t want to hire someone that loves account management and now they’re in sales, right? That doesn’t make sense.
You want to make sure that they are in the right seat in the right role.
